A Prep for Success is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students build confidence and mastery in and out of the classroom. We are currently seeking certified math teachers and experienced math tutors who are passionate about education and equity to join our tutoring team.

Tutoring Opportunities

Volunteer Math Tutors

Volunteer tutors provide free academic support to students who may not otherwise have access to high-quality tutoring.

Great fit if you want to:

Give back to the community
Gain additional teaching or mentoring experience
Support educational equity and access

Paid Math Tutors

We also offer paid tutoring opportunities for qualified tutors.

Pay Rate:
💲 $25 – $40 per hour, based on experience and subject level

Paid tutors typically:

Have significant tutoring or classroom experience
Are comfortable teaching middle school, high school, or advanced math
Can commit to consistent tutoring sessions

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants who meet one or more of the following:

Certified teachers (current or retired)
Professional math tutors
Strong background in math (middle school, high school, or higher)
Passion for helping students succeed
Reliable, patient, and supportive teaching style

Subjects May Include

Elementary & Middle School Math
Algebra I & II
Geometry
Trigonometry
Pre-Calculus
Calculus (experience dependent)
Statistics
